After Thanksgiving Sales

I know that they are about the best time of the year to buy anything but are they really worth all the pain? As you might guess, I have never been a great fan of the after Thanksgiving day sales. They just attract too many people to stores which really are not capable of holding quite so many. Has anyone ever thought about the problems with fire safety in a store after Thanksgiving? Because I don't know if you would safely evacuate everyone if they can not hardly move even when they are not being pushed and prodded by other in a panic to get out.

It is not that I have never been to an after Thanksgiving day sale, our camera was bought at one as well as a pair of flip-flops (why I ever went on that adventure is beyond me, aren't flip-flops like a dollar a pair normally, we could not have saved more then a few cents).

My real saving grace, the thing that most keeps me from going to the sales and looking around is that I have no money. When the budget is already tight there is little that can lure you to spending money that you don't have. Truthfully I believe the only thing that can encourage you to run out and buy something just because it is on sale and not because you have money or need it is stupidity. That over arching quality that is always near his good friend greed. I am not saying that I am not stupid or greedy at times, but after Thanksgiving say sales with hundreds of people packed into a single store including some who have not bathed because they had to be there at 4:00 am just because the advertisement said so is not nearly enough to get me away from my family on a Friday morning, especially that one.

Merry Christmas.
